By submitting a booking inquiry or reservation request through Blue Parrot Cabinas (blueparrotcabinas.com), you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them before booking.

1. Reservation & Confirmation

All reservations are subject to availability and owner confirmation. Submitting a booking inquiry does not guarantee a reservation. A booking is only confirmed once you receive written confirmation from Blue Parrot Cabinas (by email or WhatsApp) along with successful payment.

2. Pricing & Fees

Nightly rate: $60 USD per night (standard, 1–6 nights)
Weekly rate: $54 USD per night (7+ nights, 10% discount applied)
Monthly rate: $48 USD per night (28+ nights, 20% discount applied)
Cleaning fee: $20 USD per stay (one-time, regardless of length)
Tax (IVA): 13% applied to the subtotal plus cleaning fee, as required by Costa Rican law

All rates are quoted in US dollars. Prices are subject to change without notice until a booking is confirmed in writing.

3. Payment

Payment is due upon confirmation of availability. We accept the following payment methods:

Stripe (all major credit and debit cards) — for international guests
SINPE Móvil — for local payments within Costa Rica. Send to +506 8501-6457; look up the recipient by that phone number in your bank's SINPE Móvil option.

Payment instructions will be provided at the time of booking confirmation. Reservations not paid within the agreed timeframe may be released.

4. Cancellation Policy

Full refund: Cancellations made 5 or more days before the check-in date receive a full refund.
No refund: Cancellations made less than 5 days before check-in are non-refundable.
Early departure: No refunds are issued for early departure once a stay has begun.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or WhatsApp.

5. Check-in & Check-out

Check-in: 3:00 PM
Check-out: 11:00 AM

Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request, subject to availability and prior agreement with the owner. Unauthorized late check-outs may be subject to an additional fee.

6. Occupancy

Each cabin has a stated maximum occupancy (Cabin 1: 3 guests; Cabins 2, 3, 4: 2 guests each). Exceeding the maximum occupancy is not permitted and may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation without refund.

7. House Rules

Quiet hours: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM. Guests are expected to respect neighbors and fellow guests.
Smoking is permitted outdoors only. Smoking inside a cabin may result in a cleaning fee.
Pets are welcome within the cabin and the enclosed porch area only. Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their pets.
Parties and events are welcome in the shared gazebo/ranch area with prior notice to the owner.
Guests are responsible for keeping the cabin clean and tidy during their stay.
Any damage to the property must be reported immediately. Guests may be held responsible for damage beyond normal wear and tear.

8. Access to Shared Areas

All guests have access to the shared common areas including the gazebo, picnic table, BBQ/grill area, hammock, and outdoor shower. These areas are shared with other guests on the property and must be treated with respect.

9. Liability

Blue Parrot Cabinas and its owner are not responsible for injury, loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during a guest's stay. Guests use the property and its facilities at their own risk. Guests are encouraged to carry appropriate travel insurance.

10. Right to Refuse Service

Blue Parrot Cabinas reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or terminate a reservation at any time if a guest violates these terms, engages in disruptive or unlawful behavior, or poses a risk to the property or other guests. In such cases, no refund will be issued.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica. Any disputes arising from a reservation or stay at Blue Parrot Cabinas shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Guanacaste Province, Costa Rica.
